One small step with Native Shoes

I have a thing for kids’ versions of adult clothes and shoes. What parent doesn’t want to dress up their kid as a little mini-me version of themselves? (OK, not everyone does, but chances are, they’re probably not reading this anyway.) Vancouver-based footwear brand Native Shoes recently introduced the kids’ version of their super awesome adult intergalactic-inspired Apollo series for Summer 2016. Originally released for adults in Spring 2015, the shoe has been reinvented for little ones in two “out of this world” silhouettes: the Moc and Mid.

The Apollo collection takes inspiration from the moccasin and the desert boot and uses innovative technology to create a style that’s “familiarly unfamiliar” and utterly adorable. Made of perforated and lined microfiber with a shock-absorbent EVA outsole, no-sew construction, and rubber inserts, the new styles add to the Native brand’s “Future Classics” product philosophy.

Like all Native Shoes, the Apollo Moc and Mid are 100% “Beast Free” (i.e. no animals were harmed in the making of the shoes) and ultra-lightweight. The collection is available in 10 colours; including red, black, pink, blue, grey, and beige; retail from $75.99 to $84.99, and can be found at select retailers and online at nativeshoes.com.
