6 styling must-have baby sneakers

by Natalie Preddie

I’m a big sneaker fan- I always have been. From special edition Lugz in the sixth grade to finally affording my first pair of special edition Nike Air Max, to my coveted white Adidas high tops that got me through my first year abroad. I feel that a good pair of sneakers has the same transformation quality as the right pair of pumps – they can make you feel on top of the world with style and comfort. They can carry you through a marathon, a night out, and around the world travel.

It only makes sense that I give my son the same sneaker joy that I have enjoyed in life. Although he is still enjoying the warmth and comfort of my belly, I want him to come into the world with a collection of footwear fit for the prince I’m sure he will be. I want him to enjoy nights out, sports, and travel the same way that I did and a solid sneaker collection is quite obviously the way to start.

Here are my favourite infant sneakers I look forward to adding to my baby boy’s growing collection:

Nike Air Force Ones, nike.com $50
Adidas Superstar Crib Shoes, adidas.ca $24.95

Robeez Basic Brian Mini Shoe, Amazon.ca $35
Converse Chuck Taylors All Star High Street, dsw.com $24.94
Adidas Baby NEO BB9TIS Basketball Shoe, dsw.com $34.95

New Balance 574 Day Hiker, newbalance.ca $59.99
